Hey, I’m Fiona – the face behind SM Wedding Design & Planning!
I launched my business at the end of 2016, and in 2017, I set up my very first wedding – a Marvel-themed celebration (still one of my favourites!). Back then, we started out simply, offering chair covers and sashes. Since then, the business has grown into something really special.
Today, SM Wedding Design & Planning offers full wedding planning and completely custom-designed décor – from bespoke stationery right through to large, dramatic floral installations. Our silk florals are all handmade in-house and created just for you. No two weddings are ever the same – that’s a promise.
Outside of weddings, I’m a proud mum to my amazing 11-year-old daughter, Eliza – she inspires me every single day and is one of the biggest reasons I took the leap into business. I’m also a wife to Brendan – we’ve just celebrated 13 years of marriage. Family is everything to me, which is why I only take on one wedding per weekend and limit the number we do each year. It allows me to give each couple the time, attention, and creativity they deserve, and also enjoy those special school holidays with Eliza.
